The bull shark is considered the most dangerous shark species due to its aggressive nature, ability to survive in fresh water, and tendency to inhabit areas where humans swim. It is responsible for the most attacks on humans of any shark.

Believed to be responsible for the 1916 New Jersey shark attacks that inspired Jaws. Their ability to enter freshwater makes them uniquely dangerous, they've been found in the Mississippi River, Lake Nicaragua, and the Ganges.
